SO u think you aren't good enough for the world..
that they will stop singing your praises one day?
so u think, everything is just so pointless ...
when one day everyone is going to meet one common end?
so u think, nobody gives a damn about anyone else...
everyone is playing a role, each striving for their own grand finale?
so u think, money is a name for golden dirt ...
no wonder it makes the world go round ?
so u think, books are a coward's succor.
and that life isn't worth that weak a gamble?
so u think, today i care for you.
and tomorrow i will move on to greener pastures?
so u think, u know what i am capable of.
by playing cunning games to get to my truths?
And now u think, whatever i write is a hopeless show.
just like a pantomime playing for the blind...

hmm.. personally i'd have liked if you had changed the course of the poem towards the end to to a more positive side..
but nevertheless.. thats your creation... and u have full right to write it the way u want..
though i'd like to add that the poem was actually quite gripping and meaningful... welldone..

It is just that...

you have to be in a limelite.. throughout your lifetime..

nothing is hopeless, even writing crap, as long as people read it.

Thanks pranay !! and no thanks to arun rafi for getting distracted.

@anonymous - i'd rather aim for an audience similar to my way of thinking... those who'd get the gravity of my words, and maybe the humour behind it!

and, since you gave such an insightful opinion, i am disappointed to find you anonymous...

It will be interesting to talk in terms of journey Vs destination, the way I see it.You are actually comparing the relevance of tools and the final goals that someone/something pursues.

Like...
Being known forever=goal
Being a good person=tool
...Such a comparison has been in the philosophical quarters since ages and they are yet to converge on some common point. However, I like you expression of the perspective.

Hi ,

I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be wow.. u write well.. Why don't you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘Joie d'Vivre ’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;

BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!

This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. :)

Cheers,

Firm up and be positive is all I can advise.
My Guru taught us to be optimistic even though the general fact for normal souls is:-
"LIFE is lost in Living
and LIVING is lost in
LIVELIHOOD"
Are you and me one of the many?
Think..
I went through your entire blog and was happy to see such a mature stock of grey matter..

"LIFE is a very funny Teacher,
It first,Punishes,
and thn it TEACHES..."
